SkyShield Safety Solutions ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it and the choices you have, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
Information You Share With Us
When you call, WhatsApp, email us or submit the quote form on this website, we receive your name, mobile number, area/locality in Bengaluru, the service you are interested in and any message you write. We use it only to:
- Contact you about your enquiry and schedule a site inspection.
- Prepare a written quotation and carry out the installation.
- Provide after-sales and warranty service.
Enquiry details are stored on our secured web server and are accessible only to our team. We keep them for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the law requires longer, and then delete them.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. When you first visit, we ask for your choice. You can change it anytime using Cookie settings (also in the footer).
- Necessary (always on) —
ss_consentremembers your cookie choice (6 months). Session storage is used so the quote popup is shown only once per visit. These do not identify you. - Analytics (only if you allow) — we record anonymous visit data: page viewed, referring website, campaign tags (UTM parameters), device type, browser, screen size, language and time. We do not store your IP address, name or any identifier. This helps us understand which pages and areas are useful.
- Marketing (only if you allow) — lets us measure advertising campaigns (for example Meta or Google ads) if we run them. No marketing tags are loaded unless you opt in.
We keep an anonymous record of each cookie choice (accept, reject or custom, with the time and device type) as proof of consent. Analytics data is kept for up to 13 months.
Sharing & Security
We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with our own installation staff and, where needed, our hosting provider (Hostinger) who stores the website data on our behalf. Data files are protected from public access and the admin area is password-protected.
Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect earlier processing), and raise a grievance. Write to us at the email below and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
